Acemannan China Research

Carrington Lab Inc. raised 20 million US dollars for research starting in the 1980s to make an FDA drug from some component in Aloe Vera leaf gel. The FDA rejected the new drug application because (1) no toxicity or LD-50 or LD-100 could be provided and (2) every deviation from normal health improved. Both points are medical and pharmaceutical HERESY. Acemannan (AM) was found to be the bioactive principle in aloe leaf gel. Many pilot tests & anecdotal health benefits were observed in wide marketing. This is an extensive scientific article, a seminal paper funded by the Government of China that confirmed aloe AM’s many mechanisms of action to restore deviations from normal health. Previous US companies only sold Acemannan. This paper proves AM’s scientific benefits.
